1. Eligibility
- Participants must be a public or private school, recognized team, club, or booster organization.
- The organization must designate a single point of contact (POC) with an active email address.
- The organization must comply with all applicable district, school board, and fundraising policies.
2. Program Structure
- The organization receives 100% of the affiliate commission rate (currently 15%).
- Dookie Chain provides a unique affiliate link and QR code for the organization.
- All completed purchases made through that link or QR code count toward the organization’s fundraiser total.
- Fundraisers may be structured as limited “campaign windows” (e.g., one or two weeks) or as ongoing partnerships, as agreed in advance.
3. Campaign Timeframe
- By default, QR codes and affiliate links are active during a pre-agreed fundraising window.
- Start and end dates will be confirmed with the organization’s POC before the campaign begins.
- Extensions or additional campaign windows can be scheduled by request and mutual agreement.
- After the campaign window ends, the link may be deactivated or converted to a non-affiliate link.
4. Payout Information
- Payouts are made to the school or booster organization, not to individual students.
- The organization is responsible for providing accurate payout details (e.g., school account or booster account).
- Payouts typically occur on a regular schedule (e.g., monthly) after the campaign window closes and orders are completed.
- Dookie Chain will provide basic reporting of total qualifying sales and commissions earned.
5. Responsibilities of School and Boosters
- Promote the fundraiser ethically and in compliance with school and district guidelines.
- Use Dookie Chain–provided promotional materials (QR codes, images, and copy) or obtain approval for custom materials.
- Communicate clearly with students, families, and staff about the fundraiser’s purpose and timeframe.
- Notify Dookie Chain immediately of any suspected misuse of links or QR codes.
6. Program Suspension or Termination
Dookie Chain reserves the right to pause, modify, or terminate an organization’s participation in the program for any of the following reasons:
- Misuse of affiliate links or QR codes.
- Misrepresentation of Dookie Chain products, pricing, or program details.
- Failure to adhere to agreed fundraising windows or promotional guidelines.
- Violation of applicable school, district, or legal requirements.
The organization may also choose to end the partnership at any time by notifying Dookie Chain.
7. Data & Privacy
- Organization and contact information is used only for operating the fundraiser and affiliate program.
- Data is stored securely by Horizon Ventures LLC for Dookie Chain operations.
- Customer order data is handled in accordance with standard e-commerce and privacy practices.
8. Program Updates
Dookie Chain may update these program rules and commission structures as the business grows. Significant changes that affect active or upcoming campaigns will be communicated to the organization’s designated point of contact. Continued participation after an update will be considered acceptance of the new terms.
